How Does the Ad Priority Work?
This is a bit nerdy, but hopefully clear.
- Same Priority = Equal probability: For example, if all ads were Platinum-level, they would have the same chance of being seen.
- Higher Priority = Greater Probability: For example, Platinum-level ads have twice the chance of being seen compared to Gold-level ads.
- Variety Mechanism: Recently shown ads get their priority reduced by 70% (priority * 0.3) to increase ad variety for users
- It’s Still Random: Which specific ad gets picked is random each time, rather than being round-robin or sequential.
How Quickly Do the Ads Get Published?
After we receive your ad submission, we’ll typically get it posted right away, but do ask you give us a little wiggle room on that.
