Unlimited. You can publish unlimited changelogs on your website using the Changelog as a Service plugin.

No. Adding your changelogs to the ChangelogWP platform is completely optional, but it’s recommended if you want added discovery in the WordPress community.

No. You can submit a changelog on the submission page without using the plugin.

Note: Our platform auto-adds changelogs from the WordPress Repository, so there’s no need to submit those changelogs.

Option 1: Auto-add From the WordPress Repository (See this in action)

  2. Configure the Display and Badge settings
  3. Display your changelog by following the instructions under the How To tab (Gutenberg Block and Shortcodes are available)


Option 2: Create Your Own Changelog

  1. Install the free plugin
  2. Configure the Display and Badge settings
  3. Add and configure your changelog
  4. Copy the API Endpoint URL from within your changelog
  5. Add your changelog to our platform using the Changelog API Endpoint option

EDD (Easy Digital Downloads) users can keep the same workflow because the plugin can pull the changelog automatically.

Non-EDD users need to keep the changelog updated inside the Changelog as a Service (CaaS) plugin.
