AI Schema Gen – Schema Markup, Structured Data & Entity SEO for AI Search (JSON-LD)

Changelog

1.0.9

  • Fix: Your business details (address, sameAs links, knowsAbout topics, legal name, etc.) now appear in full only on your homepage, and every other page links back to it instead of repeating the whole block. This matches Google’s own guidance and shrinks the schema code on every non-homepage page.
  • New: Founders field — add your company’s founders and they’ll appear correctly in your generated schema as linked people (Premium).
  • New: Tax ID / VAT ID fields for your entity profile (Premium).
  • New: knowsAbout topics can now be linked to a real Wikidata entry from the dashboard, giving AI search engines a clearer, disambiguated signal about what your business specializes in.
  • Improvement: Knowledge Graph Entity Score now includes a “Trust Signals” category (Founders + Registry IDs) alongside the existing categories.
  • Fix: Corrected the schema property name used for founders (was emitting “founders”, schema.org’s correct property is “founder”).

1.0.8

  • New: Your Entity Profile now syncs both ways between the plugin and your SaaS dashboard. Edit it in either place and both sides stay in step (if you change it in both before they sync, the most recent edit wins).
  • New: The “Sync now” button now works both ways in a single click. It sends your latest changes up to the dashboard and pulls the latest changes down, instead of only sending.
  • New: Dashboard edits to your Entity Profile now appear in your WordPress admin quickly (checked when you open the plugin, at most once every few minutes) instead of waiting for the next scheduled sync.
  • Fix: Entity Profile edits made in the dashboard are no longer overwritten by the plugin’s background sync, and they now survive uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin.
  • Fix: Corrected 20 business and industry types that were producing invalid or outdated schema.org types in your markup (for example Chiropractor, Food Truck, Nursing Home). Your pages will use the corrected type the next time their schema is generated; nothing you need to do.
  • Fix: The main plugin dashboard no longer shows “Not connected” after you have saved a valid API key.
  • Improvement: Moved the “Sync now” button into the plugin dashboard header, next to the settings icon.

1.0.7

  • New: Bulk generation jobs from the SaaS dashboard can now force a specific schema type on regenerate, or delete schema entirely, for a chosen page or group of pages — supports the new “Manage Schemas” dashboard page
  • New: Site settings and generated schema now back up to your SaaS dashboard automatically; reconnecting an API key on a fresh install (or after uninstall/reinstall) restores them
  • New: “Quick Feedback” survey when deactivating the plugin, so we can see why

1.0.6

  • Maintenance: Re-published release to restore update delivery on WordPress.org; includes all 1.0.5 changes, no functional changes beyond 1.0.5

1.0.5

  • Security: Hardened JSON-LD output escaping and REST API input sanitization; API key no longer exposed in admin page source
  • Fix: Built-in schema template library (industry and schema-type starter templates) now loads correctly
  • New: Dismissible in-dashboard announcement banner, centrally managed so you always see the latest product news
  • Update: Listing rewritten to lead with AI search / entity SEO positioning (Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity citation signals)
  • Update: Expanded tags for discoverability (entity seo, knowledge graph, local seo, rich results, google search)
  • Housekeeping: Removed the Donate link from the plugin listing

1.0.4

  • New: Added Religious Organization site type with subtypes (Church, Mosque, Synagogue, Hindu Temple, Buddhist Temple)
  • New: Added Childcare site type with subtypes (Childcare Center, Daycare, Nursery, After-School Care, Babysitter / Nanny Service)
  • New: Added DEI Coach / Consultant, Design Agency, and Printing Company subtypes under Professional Services

1.0.3

  • Fix: REST API namespace mismatch — all meta box buttons (Generate, Analyze, Save, Delete) now work correctly
  • Fix: Pro/Premium plan limit now correctly shows 300/1000 instead of defaulting to the free plan’s 30 limit
  • Fix: Code editor is now fully responsive — no longer renders as a tiny fixed box
