2.1

3.0

  • Introduced iframeFix parameter to cope with Safari and IE browsers strict cookie policies.

IMPORTANT
If you upgrade to the latest version and you are already using another method of coping with the Safari embedding issue you must either disable that method as the plugin now automatically takes care of that, or you can disable this plugin’s feature by going to Settings > Dot Embed and unchecking the “Enable iframe fix for Safari and Internet Explorer” checkbox.

3.1

  • Introduced support for the gacrossdomaintracking parameter which gets the embed library to wait for Google Analytics to be loaded in order to share client IDs via the Linker plugin of Google Analytics.

3.2

  • Introduced customdomainlink parameter for embedding using custom domains and paths, relevant for SEO crediting.

3.2.11

  • Title attribute is now supported for accessibility.

3.2.15

  • Consent monitoring and synchronization to embedded experiences (OneTrust)
  • Fixed a typo for OnetrustActiveGroups
  • Fixed a typo for OnConsentChanged
  • Fixed a typo for OneTrust events

3.2.16

  • Added support for url_data_* shortcode parameters (keys support lowercase letters, numbers and underscores)

3.2.19

  • Fixed two compatibility issues for PHP7.x

3.3.0

  • Disabled the iframe fix feature (redirect) due to tightening cookie policies.
  • This is a minor breaking change: the “Enable iframe fix” setting is now disabled (commented out) and the feature no longer works as before.
  • The preferred method for embedding content is to use the project tag provided in the editor. See https://help.dot.vu/articles/how-to-embed-interactive-experiences/ for more details.
