New Features — Added “Post From Start Date” button next to the “Post Articles” button (Full API only). This allows site admins to retrieve old articles back to the start date listed in Article Display Settings.
Added “Post Version” column in the Article Display Settings table. It shows the current live version number from the API. If a newer version is available, it displays “Available” instead of a number.
Improved version number checking: the plugin now safely detects and replaces outdated articles with newer versions from the API. Shortcodes now properly handle both full category names and aliases for better compatibility.
Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements — Fixed critical fatal error on Free API sites (in_array(): Argument #2 must be of type array, string given). Fixed settings page crashing or showing as plain text (no layout) when the API returns partial or incomplete data. Made the settings page load reliably on both Free API and Full API sites.
Fixed saved category selection persistence (checkboxes now remember your last choices correctly).
Added safety handling so the plugin no longer breaks if the API response is missing expected fields.

New Major Feature – RSS Feed Support
– Added support for up to 5 RSS Feeds in the Blog Settings table.
– The plugin now automatically pulls current-month articles only from each RSS feed.
– Images and media are hot-linked (original URLs) — no files are imported into the WordPress Media Library.
– If a hot-link is blocked, the image simply does not display (graceful fallback).
– RSS posts use domain-based author and category (e.g., author = “bloomberg”, category = “Bloomberg”).
– All previous NEW features (API/Blog columns, page hit counts, Post From Start Date, version column, all-categories display, admin panel performance optimization, etc.) are included and fully stabilized.

Bug Fixes & Improvements
– Fixed “What’s New in Technology” (and other apostrophe categories) API/Blog count resetting to zero.
– RSS feed URLs no longer shift position after saving settings.
– Enhanced error logging and safeguards for RSS feeds (timeouts, empty responses, blocked feeds).
