Fortrydelsesknap.dk Withdrawal Button

Changelog

1.3.1

  • New: landing on a URL with #fortryd (e.g. a link in your order confirmation e-mail: https://yourshop.com/#fortryd) now opens the withdrawal form directly. Menu items and links keep working as before.

1.3.0

  • New: “Settings” and “Returportal Pro” links on the plugins list, and an info box on the settings page about the optional hosted return portal (returns, exchanges, complaints) by the same team — shown in your chosen language
  • New: link to the free compliance check at fortrydelsesknap.dk/tjek, so you can verify your button is detected correctly
  • No functional changes to the button or the withdrawal flow. As always, the plugin sends no data anywhere — these are plain links.

1.2.3

  • Removed the “draggable button” option. It could leave the button stuck where a visitor had moved it – even after the option was switched off – because the position was remembered in the visitor’s browser. The button now always stays exactly where you place it, and any old remembered position is cleared automatically.

1.2.2

  • New: optional custom texts in the settings page. You can now override the button label, the form heading and the “you are withdrawing from …” line – for example use “purchase” instead of “contract”. Leave the fields blank to keep the legally safe default wording. Use the friendly [shop] tag where the shop name should appear.

1.2.1

  • Shop notification e-mail now shows the customer’s e-mail address, so you can see who withdrew at a glance
  • Reply-To on the shop notification is set to the customer, so you can reply directly from your inbox without opening the dashboard

1.2.0

  • Plugin renamed to “Fortrydelsesknap.dk Withdrawal Button” (new slug: fortrydelsesknap-dk)
  • All frontend CSS and JavaScript now loaded via wp_enqueue_style/wp_enqueue_script (separate assets/eufk.js)
  • All request input (POST/GET/SERVER) is now unslashed and sanitized before use, including the nonce check
  • Settings input validated against whitelists (language, position, hex color, offset range)

1.1.0

  • New positions: floating left/right, rotated side tab on the left/right screen edge, bottom of page, or hidden (shortcode/menu only)
  • Optional draggable button: visitors can move the button if it covers something; the position is remembered in their browser
  • Shortcode [fortrydelsesknap] places the button anywhere; menu items with URL #fortryd open the form
  • Adjustable edge offset so the button never collides with chat or cookie banners
  • Close (X) button, Escape key support, ARIA dialog attributes and visible keyboard focus states
  • Confirmation checkbox (“I confirm that I wish to exercise my right of withdrawal”) as an explicit second step
  • Shop name shown in the form (“You are withdrawing from a contract with …”)
  • Confirmation screen now states that a copy is sent by e-mail
  • Honeypot spam protection
  • CSV export of the withdrawal log (Excel-friendly)
  • Log now records user agent alongside IP and timestamp
  • Smaller button on mobile; safe-area insets respected

1.0.0

  • Initial release: two-step withdrawal flow, e-mail receipts, admin log, 5 languages.
